   Micciah:  We greet you all, dear friends.

   Julie:  We do greet you, indeed.  This is Micciah Channel, and I’m Julie Winter.  Micciah is an energy entity who works with me while I’m in trance,  and while I’m in the trance state I have access to a point of view that seems to come from a non-physical realm.  This series of programs is drawn primarily from videotapes taken during my regular classes.  We want to expand our circle, and include your energy and interest in our work.
   All right, so what we’re dealing with are the issues about chakras, or energy centers in the body and what the energy centers in the body are and how they are formed and how to work with them or heal them.  The current political state, this being March 1985, between the USSR and the United States.  The connection between personal power and sexual expressivity and clear identity, not necessarily in the sense of gender identity, but identifying with one’s own sexual energy and being able to express it in a spontaneous and life-affirming way and how that connects to one’s personal power.

   Micciah: We greet you all, dear friends. Not only are you on a personal path;  there are group energies which flow together and respond together.  You might say that nations have a soul purpose.  (We are going to do the political question first.)  That nations, as you experience them on the earth — the present ones and the past ones, like the great continent that was Atlantis and the one before that, Lemuria — nations have a quality, an Over Soul, a purpose.  Planetary entities (the earth is a planetary entity) have guardians and purposes.  And the movement between two nations can be seen as the movement between two entities.  The United States and Russia are really both entities representing overt power at this time (has not always been so) and the use and misuse of power.  And the dance that they have together describes a very ancient dilemma.
   At the essence of the misunderstandings is the urge, very much like your personal urges and attachments, to being right.  So we have these two great entities who don’t seem to be listening to their Over Souls.  As entities they seem, these vast and powerful energies, locked out of their heart centers.  (We will talk later with chakras.)  They seem unable to soften, to soften, and to drop into their own great hearts.  These are both nations of vastly complicated cultures whose initial intention, both nations, in relatively recent history, was liberation, yes?  Although they view liberation through different lenses.  It is like watching two elephants.  The power tips and crashes; and what is needed is for the entities of the countries, which are really composed of the entities of all of you, to let go of the attachment, each in its own way, to greed, to position, to rightness in the sense of being right.  The energy between these nations is at the moment very strained.
   Now if the people — because all nations are people — could speak with each other, there would be very easy understanding.  In politics — listen now — the path to the sacred has been covered over.  Do you understand?  It is possible for two nations to come together in a great and magnificent sharing not so different from your question, Maria, about sexual energy, the generative chakra, the root, connected to the heart.  In the great entity, so to speak, the body, of a nation meeting with the body of another nation in ecstasy, in generativity, in creativity.  This is possible when the path to the sacred is included in the political.
   What would bring this about?  Your personal work.  How in your own world you are able or unable to deal with conflict, with differences.  And we would like you to meditate on that, think about that, during the week.  How are you able or unable to deal with conflict?  Where are you stuck, caught, impaled on your own judgements, on your own attachment, on your own greed, on your own need to protect self by being right?  Nations mirror in a very obvious way the sticky energies of the totality of their people.  So begin with work on yourself.  What are the energies like in relationship to each other?  It is very strained, like threads that are frayed, all of it coming head to head, head energy to head energy, mental level to mental level.  And the mental has become obsessed!
   What happens when you cut off the heart, and the energy, and the clarity of a certain kind of softness?  What happens is you have paranoia.  Because mind goes wild with possibilities, and strategies, and plans, and schemes, and defenses, and counter-defenses, and spies, and counter-spies.  When the head is disconnected from the heart, when the heart is not there to yield, to soften, to remind the head of trust, and when the heart is cut off from the root, and the sparkling quality of the generative energies are disconnected from play, you have paranoia; and it has resulted in this vast and complex system of weaponry. 
   Now in addition to working with yourselves, to be really aware of how you deal with peace, and conflict, and judgement, and the inner cruelty of self-condemnation and projected condemnation:  “I am not like you, I am different.”  Well, you are all not so different anywhere on earth.  You must change your frame. Could you all meditate on the possibility, create the probability, of the entities of nations being able to engage in real communion, communication?
   Now the mind level probably says,  “Well, that is ridiculous.  What is that going to do?”  You need to begin somewhere, and what is available is your own self. 
   We want you to understand, we are going to say this again.  When the mental realm is disconnected from heart, from spirit, a proliferation of fear exists.  You know how fast the mind can spin up possibilities.  It needs the balancing of the heart, and the root, and the voice, the throat center that speaks from the heart.
   So, what are these energy centers?  There really are centers all over the body, chakras.  Chakra (not an English word) means center.  We will review, yes?  There is one in the root, depending on what you believe, there really are two. There is a generative center, and then one slightly up and in back of that.  And then there is one right below the navel. [pointing to the root] This is the generative center. There are glandular associations also, we are not going to go into all of the details, but this does have to do with the reproductive centers. [again pointing] Then there is the one slightly above and back of it which is not to do with physiological generativity but with other kinds of generativity. [pointing again] And there is one below the naval which has to do with... It is a balancing point for the body; it has to do with power in the material world.  And the solar plexus [pointing] which has to do with communication, interpersonal communication in the everyday world.  And then there is the heart center which has to do with the flowing together of the personal and the transpersonal experience of love.  And the throat, which speaks from the heart — hopefully.  And this center [touches the space between the eyes] which you can touch before you meditate, which is the open window to impressions that are not generated from the physical realm.  So it is called the psychic center.  “Psychic” is not such a good word, it is a loaded word.  And there is the crown, which really sprays out an energy like this [gestures: a fountain] and is connected to everything.  It is like having something poured into you.
   Well, there are centers all along the meridians of the body, little tiny ones.  In acupuncture and shiatsu, those centers are penetrated or pressed to balance the energy of the meridians, of the organs, to shift the flow.  And on the body of the earth itself there are centers, there are lines that cross and criss-cross the earth.  We have told you before. They are called ley lines and the old sacred buildings were built on the power centers, and the buildings, the monuments, tracked right along those power meridians. 
   So, are they always there?  Well, they are created with the creation of the physical self.  The centers are not composed of physical energy, they are non-physical; and there are a number of them.  They’re not just in a line like this, but there are finer and finer energies. So there is a root center, which is very closely connected with your physical self, and needs to be adjusted if you want to work with sexual energies, the reproductive organs.  (We don’t mean better when we say finer.  We mean, literally, not as dense.)  [pointing out from her torso] Out here, out here, out here, out here, are a bunch of them, all encased in the egg, the auric envelope of the whole body.  The lines go this way and they also go this way [gestures].  So, there are other centers and meridians along here [gestures], which you probably know if you know shiatsu or acupuncture.  They can be changed, they change all the time. They are always changing, breathing, moving.  So when “this one” teaches you some more channeling, she can teach you to see the centers; they are not so hard to see.  And the colors are indicative of the qualities of energy flowing through them, of possible disease states, which show up in the centers before they show up in the physical body.  And they can indeed be healed, with color, with color meditations, with chanting.  (You feel self-conscious about chanting on people’s bodies, so you have to get over that.)  It’s very effective to sound, right onto a center, either front or back. And they can be changed, their color, their quality with someone physically working with them. And with crystals.  You should experiment.  And they do resonate to different sounds.
   When the root center is closed, or tight, and the energy of this center is forced upward, into the second center — this is a simplified version — then the power of sexual exchange is diminished.  And when the flow through all the centers is blocked or stifled, or too full, overcharged, then there is also a diminution of feeling.  In your culture, you make very great distinctions between sexual energy and other energy.  It’s just energy!  And there are many taboos around it and moral judgment.  So, there is a lot of clamping down in the mental realm not so different from what we described in the energies between countries.  The battle of the sexes (yes?) in your culture is well known.  Battle.  A war.  Sexual expressivity is energetic expressivity operating, probably, at a genital level, and at a heart level, and at a mental level, and through what you say and how you communicate.  It involves all the energy.  When there is a shutting down or a self-punishing, critical, damaging voice, that affects the energy flow, and there is lack of expressivity.  It goes the other way around.  If you could feel your real power, your real miraculous nature, and share it, then you would share it sexually as well as other ways. 
   Now, there is this special aspect of sex, its procreative generative capacity, and that needs to be honored.  But great, energetic expressivity can take all forms.  All forms:  a friendly form, (yes, we have said this before) a comforting form, an erotic form, a form intended to create a channel that becomes a new physical form.  All of them.  You hold it in your culture as if... It is like thinking you can eat only one kind of food.  “That is the right kind.  No other kind.  And you had better like it all the time!”  So, of course, you have to put all kinds of sauce on it, and add tomatoes, and put in green peppers, and fry it and bake it.  It is like one recipe for the same kind of food!  And it is really many kinds.  And you confuse sexuality with ownership.  You confuse people with things.  You can’t own a person!  You don’t even own yourself!  You create yourself.  You can’t even really own a thing.  So there are many channels, many faces, many costumes to share this extraordinary dance of energy; and you could wear many of them with honor, with joy, with creativity.  But we know, it has been programmed in your nervous system, certain beliefs.  You could work on these in class again, except it will probably make everyone go away for a few weeks. [class chuckles]  The beliefs, the confusion about people and ownership which get fastened around attachment in sexuality.  
   We, all of us, share with you much love.  We tell you love is always available.  And we bid you a very joyful evening.

   Several final words. The thread that runs through my work of, which the channeling is one aspect, is healing. So, the thread of healing goes through my work with individuals, my teaching, my lecturing, my writing. And that healing, I believe, comes from a truthful exploration of one’s relationship with spirit. Spirit heals through us, and that healing enables us to be with the sacred nature of everyday life.
