Micciah: We greet you all, dear friends.
Julie: We do greet you, indeed. This is Micciah Channel, and I’m Julie Winter. Micciah is an energy entity who works with me while I’m in trance, and while I’m in the trance state I have access to a point of view that seems to come from a non-physical realm. This series of programs is drawn primarily from videotapes taken during my regular classes. We want to expand our circle, and include your energy and interest in our work.
----------
Micciah: We greet you all, dear friends. Now, since you are going to ask individually for meditations, and since there are others watching and listening, we will gear the responses so they are of use to others.
There is one aspect of the mind that always wants more information. There is one aspect of the mind that is an information junkie. More is always better. And if the information is disconnected from follow-through, from an incorporation into beingness, or doingness, then you just crave more and more information. So, we do most strongly urge you to follow though with whatever your meditations or processes are. And also, those of you watching, try them out! If you don’t like it, stop, but it will certainly not be effective if you don’t try. There is also part of the self that is always looking for a metaphysical lottery number. The magical combination that, when you press it or spin the handle to those numbers, will unlock all the secrets of the universe and solve all of your life issues like that! That level of self is always ready to believe and is always disappointed, because there is no such number. And to have such a number would be to lose the delight, and the fullness, and the poignancy, and the ecstasy of the movement of your own being.
So, please, what are your questions? Let’s start with Pat.
Pat: I would like to ask you how I can sift through the possibilities that have presented themselves to me over the past month or so. How can I sift through those possibilities and find what I really want to do? Or should I try and experiment with all of them and see which one is ultimately satisfying? And I would also like a meditation for the summer.
Micciah: Whenever you are faced with a number of possibilities, you can try this. Make your own oracle. Write them on a piece of paper and cut them out, so you have Possibility One, Possibility Two, and then mix up all the pieces of paper, put them face down on the floor so you don’t know which one is which. Meditate for a few moments before you begin, and then very slowly move your hand over the upside-down pieces of paper. You will feel like taking some and not others. Take the ones that you feel like taking — they may almost feel sticky — and put them aside. And then look at them.
This is a way of mobilizing the not-conscious self, or the very conscious self, and guiding yourself through having the outside world, the seeming outside world, reflect back to you your inner choices. Once you have selected, then do a visualization for each one. Really imagine yourself in that situation, doing whatever it is, going to France, or riding horseback, or getting married, or getting divorced, or whatever it is. And after each visualization, write down the elements that come up. Out of the ones that you visualize, one or two will seem the strongest. You will be able to project most with your heart into one or two possibilities. Now, don’t write down 140 pieces. This is minimalist! Minimalist oracle wisdom. And then out of what you have chosen and what you have visualized or projected yourself into, ask to have a dream about it. We will tell you, the more you wish to feel your own power, the closer you need to come to your own inner guidance. And as a paradox, it is within reason, it is not the choice so much as the spirit that you bring to it.
Now, Pat, we have a meditation for you. See yourself doing three outrageous things. The more you move your creative energies, which are great, into the areas where you haven’t tried them out yet, the more will be available to all the areas. To do something outrageous is to ride the energies of the cells into taking a creative risk. Not something destructive and outrageous. Something you’ve always wanted to do and haven’t tried, even if it’s simple. And we have one more suggestion. And you may all try this. To sit in meditation and flood your whole body with a color, whatever color appeals to you that day as an energizing and cleansing color. It could be blue, could be lavender, could be green, whatever. Fill your whole body with a wash of colored energy, and then dissolve the color out on the out breath, and then inhale it on the in breath, and dissolve it out on the out breath. Do it for about five minutes. It will give you an abundance of energy!
Pat: Thank you.
Micciah: John.
John: I know that one draws energy from above and directs that energy though desire to manifestation. I have a very powerful desire, but it’s so powerful that it frightens me. I don’t want to get obsessive about that desire, I don’t want to get trapped into the desire. I would like a meditation that would help me not to fear that so much, to fear the obsessiveness of desire.
Micciah: We can hear it in your voice.
John: Yes.
Micciah: Whatever this desire is it seems to you that it is bigger than you are, that it will swallow you whole. Now, the way in which you describe manifestation suggests the way to balance. You don’t just get energy from above, from the heavens, or the great sky. You get it also from the earth. And heaven and earth balance each other. In a sense, feeling overwhelmed by your own desire is a way of saying you will be knocked off your feet. So meditate on being connected through you feet and through the root center, which is here, right in front of the coccyx. When you are meditating, imagine that there is a cord of energy that goes down into the earth, or imagine that you are like a tree with its roots deeply planted in the earth and its branches open to the sky. And when you are held in natural balance, then you won’t feel so much that you will be swept away by desire. You can also do this — and you can all do it, and you (the audience) can all do it, and “this one” (Julie) can do it — sit down and imagine your desire at its most intense. Let the lion out of its cage, meet the dragon of desire. Imagine it becoming as intense as it could become, and then, very slowly, imagine that it is becoming transparent. Do you understand? You will see, or you will feel, that desire, when you allow it to vibrate, becomes quite solid a feeling, quite solid, almost as solid as your hand. And when the feeling has gotten to its most solid, then sense it becoming less and less solid, less and less, less and less, like a vapor. So that you are not afraid of the dragon. Is that clear?
John: Yes.
Micciah: That same dragon is your commitment, John, and your driving energy, so you don’t want to get rid of it.
Carol.
Carol: For the last year I think I’ve really been focusing much more on expressing and being with my own personal power. I think healing class has really helped me a lot with that. I’d like to find a way to stay aligned with my personal power and my own creative energies, because what I do find happening is that a lot of times I can feel my strength and feel my power, and then I’ll collapse on it, or I’ll sabotage it in some way. Then I’ll pick myself up again and continue until maybe I get too scared, and then I’ll collapse on it again. So I would like a meditation in which I could begin to align with my own personal power more freely, and more easily, and more completely.
Micciah: Is the saboteur always a collapser? The element of the self that is sabotaging always falls over? That is the mode of sabotage?
Carol: Yes. I feel fear, and then I collapse. I feel that I can’t do it, or I can’t manifest it, whatever it is.
Micciah: So, the point is to make friends with your fears. We have the dragons over here, and the bear over here, and the goblins over here. Have you ever worked to characterize the saboteur? Who is that person, so to speak?
Carol: No, I don’t think I have. I experience a feeling, I haven’t really got into images.
Micciah: So on the emotional level it would be useful to characterize it. You could go into a toy department and find something, a little animal, a little something, might not be an animal, that represented your saboteur. Make it something real, something with plush and feathers, you know. Not just an idea. And start to talk to it. Everyone has a sabotaging element, yes? Takes different forms. Some people sabotage themselves by not being able to choose, some people sabotage by spending too much money, some people sabotage by being afraid. So first you make friends with the saboteur and find out his or her history as if you were doing an interview, a life history. And then choose, in your meditations, one thing you are afraid of. Start small or you will sabotage the whole thing. And do it. And then choose another thing, and do it. You will never be able to do it if you don’t do it. And they can be quite simple things. You have really during this past year especially done many many of these things, so just keep working on to the next step and the next step. And when you are meditating — this is not a breath meditation but a focused meditation, a guided meditation — imagine yourself in the situation that you fear, holding your saboteur by the hand. Let us say it is a little troll-like figure. And enlisting its aid, its creative help. Saboteurs are very creative, yes? They get all kinds of ways to trip your feet, so you want to use the cleverness, use the intelligence, the shrewdness, to support you. And imagine yourself going into the situation and solving the dilemma. We will tell you, as soon as you start these exercises, these processes and meditations, your mind will say, as a representative of a part of the self that doesn’t really want to change anything, “It won’t work, it’s not a good idea.” So try it anyway.
Carol: Thank you.
Micciah: You have a lot of energy in your hands, Carol. You are using it?
Carol: Yes.
Micciah: Good. Healing is a natural ability of the human race.
So, one more. Carolyn.
Carolyn: Micciah, I’d like a meditation for the summer that deals with fulfilling my core purpose or purposes in being here in this incarnation. And maybe something specific about giving myself what I need while I’m helping a sick friend. I’ve been very much involved with caring for a dear friend who’s been ill for a few months, and I feel willing to give her the time...
Micciah: Yes, but you must take care. For all of you, when you are caring for someone who is ill or very needy, you must take care to replenish your own resources, and for you that means your classes and your work and being alone.
Carolyn: Right.
Micciah: You are one who needs to be alone. Different people have different needs. So you must build that into the schedule or you will give it away.
Now... We suggest as your meditation on fulfilling your core purpose that you see yourself as an eagle. If she needs to develop her bear power, you need to develop your eagle power. Far-seeing, swift, precise, able to be both in the air and to hang on — an eagle has huge talons — noble. See yourself as the eagle, because you are always modest. Begin to cultivate your eagle power. That is what is missing from your healing strength. You are a very fine healer, and the work you do is on your purpose, connected to your purpose already. That is already aligned. It doesn’t mean you couldn’t change, but that’s done. The eagle sights where it is going and moves to it, swoops down on it. Sounds like Snoopy, in all his guises. The eagle’s energy is close to the energy of ruthless compassion. Move toward that.
So, play with all of this. Adapt the meditations to yourself and to your needs and feel the creative movement of life playing in you and as you, as you do them.
We wish you all a most joyful summer, and we will see you again in September. Good day.

Julie: That’s all for the moment. At the end of class we discuss the information that Micciah has shared and talk about how to use it in ordinary life since all of this information was given to be used.
Several final words. The thread that runs through my work of, which the channeling is one aspect, is healing. So, the thread of healing goes through my work with individuals, my teaching, my lecturing, my writing. And that healing, I believe, comes from a truthful exploration of one’s relationship with spirit. Spirit heals through us, and that healing enables us to be with the sacred nature of everyday life. I urge you to use your prayers and meditations toward experiencing the joy and sacred nature of life itself.
Julie: “This channeling is meant to be a spiritual, emotional, intellectual, heartful, mindful journey that I share with another realm, that I share with my classes and that we all share with you. Please go over the material, evaluate it for yourself, and know what it is that you think about it.”
