Micciah: We greet you all, dear friends.
Julie: We do greet you, indeed. This is Micciah Channel, and I’m Julie Winter. Micciah is an energy entity who works with me while I’m in trance, and while I’m in the trance state I have access to a point of view that seems to come from a non-physical realm. This series of programs is drawn primarily from videotapes taken during my regular classes. We want to expand our circle, and include your energy and interest in our work.
----------
Micciah: We greet you all, dear friends.
Now, we would like to tell you at the very beginning, since you have asked questions that are essentially about power, that you are far more powerful than you have ever imagined. You as individuals and you as a creative power of a group have access to the generative source which affects everything, all life. All life. And you hide out in powerlessness. It is like peekaboo. “No, I am not powerful, not I, not I alone. They are.” Always the power is referred to the forces outside. The government.
The media. (Well, now we are the media.) Those people. We tell you, you have great power. Believe it. Don’t be fooled by the shadows, don’t be fooled by the most obvious. Often, when the physical body is relinquished, the entity has a realization of the immensity of the power that was always available. That is what all of the teachings are about, the so-called secret teachings, they are about power. So now, in this extraordinary and difficult time, it is an open secret. The secret is out. It is not that you lack power but rather that you lack courage to be in the spontaneous movement of life and risk it, to risk being a fool, to risk being vulnerable — the greatest risk of all. The mark of the warrior in the metaphysical tradition, or the spiritual tradition as differentiated from the worldly tradition, is vulnerability. The warrior allows her heart, or his heart, to be soft, encompassing energies that are as radiant as the stars and sun and mysterious as the night.
So… What are your questions? We will start with Irwin.
Irwin: Since all action and energy follows the flow of nature, the ebb, the rise and fall, has this seemingly crazy violence that’s manifesting now in ever-increasing volume finally reached its peak?
Micciah: No. The energies of the earth do rise and fall like the tides, or like a breath; and your notion of steady, linear development is not so. You are on the earth in a time of upheaval which is, by the agreement of the planet, a time of challenge, of extraordinary opportunity to penetrate into the heart of truth and power in the midst of chaos and, as you say, craziness. And it is not yet at the top of the rise, or at the fullness of the breath. You can feel that, yes, can’t you? If you think about that, if you meditate on it, you can feel that the momentum is still in its rising phase. And there is virtually nothing, no thing, outside, so to speak, that does not mirror the inside; so you know that the planet as a whole, as a group consciousness, is chaotic and in torment and also yearning, yearning. In this rising wave, you have not only the violence but pulsating yearning for a reconnection, a remembrance of the love of spirit, of all that is.
You see the yearning reflected in the many, many workshops, and gurus like mushrooms, and books, and courses. So with this huge pulsation, which is like a vomiting out of the repression of centuries — it is very speeded up in this century, yes — with it there is tenderness and questing and yearning. And no, it has not peaked. When it peaks, we assure you, you will know it.
To have a connection that is very deep, very great, enables you to chew up and digest all of this pulsating experience and to spit out the toxins. To do that successfully, without becoming lost in the violence, beaten down by it, threatened by it, you must have a connection with the pulse at the center of it all. And that is what this group is about and this media is about and all of the groups of like or similar mind. Remembering. Remember. Remembering the connection. When you are in that connection, you cannot act falsely. And you know, experientially, — not here, [points to her head] here [points to her heart] — you know that you are connected with every being, with all the joy and all the suffering. It is hard to look at that much, yes? You go back to hiding. Peekaboo.
So, please, John.
John: The question I had is about the balance of greed and prosperity, in Manhattan especially. What can we do politically to see that the profiteers prosper and also that the poor people and people of less means are able also to make a way here on this island, including the homeless?
Micciah: We will not ask you how many homeless you have invited into your home.
This island is like a nerve point or, really, a terminus where bunches of nerves come together. Because it is so extreme, yes. So rich, so poor, not as poor as some countries, but there are great extremes. Great violence, great excitement. And this island, this city, is like a microcosm, like a small version of all the activity we are talking about on the planet. So, like the planet, the city has not finished pulsing. It has not risen to the wave, the height of the wave, of seducing the rich to live here and crushing the poor. And what it reflects is group greed. And in a very intense way it reflects the distortions in America, in Europe — not so much is some of the other countries. Which are distortions that on the emotional... At the level of emotional and spiritual connection there is a severing. The emotional realm and the spiritual realm are not encouraged to flow together. That is where the yearning comes from. And in this disconnection there is emptiness and a voraciousness to fill the emptiness, because you are a country of acquisitiveness, to fill it with having. Having becomes the goal. Having power, but in the worldly sense, not in the inner sense. Having possessions. Having lovers. Grabbing at sex. Grabbing at excitement. And it is to fill this emptiness.
So, on a personal level, you can work with connecting spirit and feeling, having them feed each other. And you can take the risk of being vulnerable in this very risky place, teetering on the edge of the volcano, smelling the sulphur and flames. And you can in your own small community be conscious of sharing. You can infiltrate political groups with this kind of consciousness, which exists a bit more in politics now than it used to. And you can turn your attention toward caring for those who are already homeless. There are soup kitchens. There are ways to contribute, in a physical sense, with your time, your energy. Use your power! And in your daily meditations you can include the island, and, healing it, the body of this island like the earth. And you can watch what you say. The city is a mass of what we have called negative excitement, and attachment to negative excitement — the muggings, and the murders, and the horror — become a sort of poisonous food that is addictive. And then people make their relationships with each other based on horrible stories, yes? So you can not contribute to that. We don’t mean to repress you, but watch what you say; words are powerful. Words, combined with intentionality, with the thrust of your heart energy, are very powerful. So when you are saying, over and over, “Oh, this is so terrible. Oh, it is so terrible. Oh, it is so terrible,” that adds to the energy of its terribleness. Now, you must acknowledge what feels terrible, but you can turn your attention toward alleviating it, toward meditating on it. Being in in this city is like being at the edge of a volcano. (We have said that before.) Some people like to live at the edges of the volcano.
Please go on. Pamela.
Pamela: What actions can we take to reverse the ecological decay that we’re in right now? In a personal way, as a small group, and as a larger group?
Micciah: These questions are very similar. First of all, pay attention to the ecology of your life. What choices do you make in having things, possessions, that serve you? How much do you really need? What do you choose to have, or wish to have, to fill an emptiness that that item will never fill? It will be only a taste, a moment of satisfaction and then stimulate you to want more.
And this is true not just in the world of possessions but in the world of emotions. What hungers do you have that represent issues for you to work out yourself, not the real need for something, to have something, to get something? What is the ecological balance in your emotional life? Do you have lots of trash? Do you have acid rain? In your emotional life what is the ecology? Is there too much giving out, not enough taking in? And how is that reflected in the way that you are a steward — of your possessions, of your home, of land that you have? Do you think you really own anything? No. You create things, but you don’t own them. And it is in the misperception about ownership that you come to treat the earth like a thing, as if you owned it and therefore you could treat it as you pleased, with such hostility.
So, always begin where you are. Begin where your nose is. And look at the balance ecologically of your feeling life, and of the way you deal with possessions. And the way you use resources. Very simple! Very basic! Develop attention, awareness! Do you put the water taps on and run and run and run and run them? Oh, the mind will shut off immediately. (No pun intended.) We can feel you are either going into guilt — “Oh my God, I do.” Or, “Oh well, that’s not important, and that’s not going to save the planet anyway. Who cares about that?” It is important because it is your consciousness; and your consciousness, as we began by saying, is very powerful, very effective. What is there besides your consciousness? So, when you use water, do you use it and use it and use it? Do you throw things away when they could be taken care of and reused? Do you use electricity much more than you need? How are you using what the earth gives you? What is your attitude? Don’t make yourself guilty. It’s the great joy of growing that we wish for you, not guilt. And again, you can work in the political arena in a way that reflects your consciousness. Speak up! Speak up! Hold people accountable in the government for what’s happening. “Oh, it takes time, it takes energy, it’s boring, it’s not effective.” Use the group as a support, to do that. You have, you have. You have signed lots of petitions.
We would like to suggest that as a meditation; to meditate on the self and what elements of the self you have banished, in the way that your culture has banished certain qualities. In claiming those banished children, and trolls, and angels, and animals that are part of the total self, you become enriched and empowered. You loosen your bondage. And you become free, more and more, to renounce all that stands in the way of your compassion and your connection to others.
So, we share with you much energy and love, and we bid you now a very good evening.

Julie: That’s all for the moment. At the end of class we discuss the information that Micciah has shared and talk about how to use it in ordinary life since all of this information was given to be used.
Several final words. The thread that runs through my work of, which the channeling is one aspect, is healing. So, the thread of healing goes through my work with individuals, my teaching, my lecturing, my writing. And that healing, I believe, comes from a truthful exploration of one’s relationship with spirit. Spirit heals through us, and that healing enables us to be with the sacred nature of everyday life. I urge you to use your prayers and meditations toward experiencing the joy and sacred nature of life itself.
Julie: “This channeling is meant to be a spiritual, emotional, intellectual, heartful, mindful journey that I share with another realm, that I share with my classes and that we all share with you. Please go over the material, evaluate it for yourself, and know what it is that you think about it.”
