MICCIAH CHANNEL: JULIE WINTER
Produced by Jon Child
Transcript of Program 106, 1988 [CC]
Some of Julie’s early work in channel in 1986 where Micciah discusses Chaos:
• Are the increases in personal and world chaos related? This planet is coming to the end of an age. Linear time is speeding up. Nuclear and toxic waste contamination are exacerbating what is a time of apparent disaster. As with physical illness, this is a time of great release. “Plunge into the depths of love in the midst of chaos.” View Section
• How do we handle our fear of chaos? Befriend your fears; get to know them. Rejecting them is too much of a suck on the life force. View Section
• Relationship between chaos, creativity and love. It is intimate. “Chaos...is the creative soup... It is the principle of life delighting in itself.” Allow the involuntary, the spontaneous. The crushing of natural impulse results in violence. View Section
Micciah: We greet you all, dear friends.
Julie: We do greet you, indeed. This is Micciah Channel, and I’m Julie Winter. Micciah is an energy entity who works with me while I’m in trance, and while I’m in the trance state I have access to a point of view that seems to come from a non-physical realm. This series of programs is drawn primarily from videotapes taken during my regular classes. We want to expand our circle and include your energy and interest in our work.
I want to thank all of you who have been watching and who have written to me. And what you are going to see is me, with my personality and intelligence, awareness, go into an altered state. And while I’m in that altered state, I join with other energies, or another energy, and produce the personality of Micciah. I have, in that state, an awareness that I don’t ordinarily have. And I’m going to respond to questions that my classes have asked me.
----------
Micciah: We greet you all, dear friends. The room is not only for your learning and sharing. There are also class members from other realms who come to be with you. Visitors. So, now, let us have your questions about chaos.
Marie: There appears to be a cycle of chaos going on, on a personal level, at least within a small group of acquaintances, friends, people at work. A number of personal tragedies, personal suffering. Is there something going on that’s affecting everybody very personally? And is this somehow a reflection of the larger chaos in the world?
Micciah: You are coming to the end of a great age. In linear time, in the great creation of the dream of the dream of this planet, and this realm, you are coming to the end of a cycle of many, many thousands of years. Everything in the earth plane cycles, rises and falls. In the context of this time, there is a speeding up in linear terms. More and more, more and more apparent disaster. It is more of an impact on the totality because the nuclear power and the chemicals and so forth affect the earth, the body of the earth itself.
This more and more, this torrent of disruption is analogous to what we are describing about an illness in the body, where the psychic fabric that has held it all together, which is a very loose fabric, tears. And out pours from the unconscious, from the creative stores, out pours unconfrontable feelings, unimaginable events. In this very century you have experienced one enormous chaos after another, yes? So, in terms of incarnations, it is a time that demands great courage. You didn’t get here by accident. You may think someone sold you a bill of goods, the karmic Brooklyn Bridge [laughter]. “Want to buy a nice lifetime?” [laughter] “Cheap?” But you are all here by your own choosing. And you are, in the midst of it all, most loved. And it is possible, in the midst of the result of the bursting, torrential disease, disaster, poisoning — You are going to have on this planet trouble with your water. We have said this before — still, it is possible to stay with the principle of love and the spirit of trust. We don’t mean this in a make-nice way but in the most profound way. This love we speak of is a great risk. To plunge into the depths of love in the midst of chaos. And this refers also to someone who is chaotically ill in the body. This is an enormous challenge. It’s much easier to plunge into love when things are calm. Faced with the dragons at your very gate, in your very midst — they are past the gates — how can you fall into love? What, are you stupid!? It is a time of speeded up chaos, Marie. So there is more, in the sense that it is more condensed. And there is the possibility of a kind of biting through, biting through the apparent oppositions and destruction all the way through into the experience of a love that holds everything. Plunging through it! Like going into a boiling sea! And to be in the midst of it all, gentle with yourselves and with each other. Compassionate. [sigh] There are creative solutions also for what is upon you on the earth, and you can find them, if you ask. Ask, ask, ask. All is not lost.
----------
Julie: Okay, stop for a moment and pay attention to what your response is to the information that’s just been channeled. Does it seem to be comfortable, right and appropriate for you? Would you like to think about it further? What does your body feel like right now? What is your breath like right now? And now we’re going to go back and do some more channeling.
----------
Micciah: Please go on.
Leslie: Since we individually and collectively impose will or intellect on spirit out of fear, out of fear of what we see then as chaos, and then we produce this, how do we get rid of the fear? And take that plunge you’re talking about?
Micciah: You can’t exactly get rid of it.
[Laughter]
There are many teachings that suggest you can, but we would approach it as a dance with the demon. So, fear is just energy, yes? Everything... Fear is one form that energy can take. You can befriend your fears. You can gather them around you as the frightened children or little trolls, or whatever they seem to be to you. And you can befriend them. Even the great ones can be befriended. So in doing this, those fears cease to run your life. You will, we think, do better to gather them toward you and look at their faces than to try to banish them. Because holding fear at bay, first of all it’s impossible, but even the illusion of it sucks your life force. It takes energy, it is tiring. It is as if by befriending them, you can transmute the form they have taken. Punishing yourself because you are afraid is useless. Worse than useless, it is harmful. You [exhale] harm yourselves, yes, when you try to ride over feeling. You harm yourself.
Please go on.
Karl: I’d like to know about the relationship of chaos to creativity. To the creative process. And in your initial remarks you also talked about will and about how we use will to hinder that process. And further on you talked about the creative process in relationship to love.
Micciah: Yes.
Karl: What is the relationship between chaos, creativity, and love?
Micciah: Intimate. Intimate. [laughter] We could leave it at that. Chaos is so magnificent. Not in the way that you think of it. In the way that you use language, chaos has a negative implication, if not literally a negative definition. But it is the creative soup! And when you allow it, the wildness of it, then things, life, health, the planet, fall into extraordinary forms. It is the principle of life delighting in itself, and it is perfectly designed. But it is not understandable in the way that you like to understand things.
So you know, when you fall in love, which is a good metaphor... Human beings create falling in love with each other, in some ways, just to experience their own life force, there is a feeling of wildness and liberation; and at the same time, paradoxically, the sense of safety, or coming home. So, chaos in its life-giving form, unform, is the very juice through which life waves. As we said earlier, the destructive, the negative or destructive — don’t like those words — life-denying or life-destroying numbness that comes from the superior position of the will keeps out that creative chaos that would feed everything. And then things take on a mechanical wildness that is proliferative, which is what we were talking about earlier. Allowing yourself to fall, to risk, to fall into the involuntary, into your impulses, to follow them rather than trying to crush them is to unite chaos and love. And that produces creativity. Creativity is the by-product.
You know you cannot create by sitting down and forcing yourself to create. You all do know that. And the more you allow your impulses, get to know them, the more you can let yourself fall in chaos. Meditation brings up great chaos, yes? The chaos of all the realms. The cells of your body in a healthy state all seem to hang together properly, but if you could see it, you would see a sort of loose organization with a seemingly chaotic pattern, but it all comes out all right. It’s only dead cells that hold still.
Do you want to ask further, Karl?
Karl: Sometimes in the closed system that we live in, we don’t allow our impulses, we don’t believe our impulses. How can be become more aligned, or in tune, and actively follow our impulses? Because we cut them off.
Micciah: Yes. You need to come closer in contact with the intuitive level of being. You can work out meditations in class. We have given “this one” one for all of you to do. But you shut out much of your natural awareness, so it is a question of becoming more playful. Just take the first step first. Becoming more playful when you are impelled to do something.
When we say impulses, you probably all think, “Uh, oh, impulses! You don’t want to know about my impulses!”
[Laughter]
[You assume] that they are all dreadful. But pay attention to them all because they are the possible pathway into great creativity, even though the ride may be bumpy. Violence is not a natural impulse. Violence is a stimulated impulse that comes from feelings of impotence, um... Just a moment...
When the natural impulses are not followed, are punished, are cut off, are crushed, then a being can feel more and more diminished, impotent, lost. And it is the pain, it is the pain of that loss of one’s own connection to life that creates violence. It may be framed as violence to get money, or violence to get revenge. It comes from the murdering of the impulses, the true natural impulses. So you have an idea that all your impulses are unacceptable. Some of them will mix up your life, that is true. But it is cutting them off that is ultimately violent. So pay attention to a few of them, follow them out. See what happens. There is a lot of punishment in terms of your culture for impulses. Impulsive behavior is... there isn’t any room for it, there isn’t any time for it. So, no one’s going to help you out, you have to help yourself out.
We will leave you now. We don’t wish to tire Julie. There is a lot of energy, a lot of vitality here, with you. And your circles are felt everywhere.
We share with you much love and offer you many thanks for your thought and your love and your time. And we bid you a very good evening.

Julie: That’s the end of this particular segment... of this particular adventure. And this channeling is meant to be a spiritual, emotional, intellectual, heartful, mindful journey that I share with another realm, that I share with my classes and that we all share with you.
Please go over the material, evaluate it for yourself, and know what it is that you think about it.
Several final words. The thread that runs through my work of, which the channeling is one aspect, is healing. So, the thread of healing goes through my work with individuals, my teaching, my lecturing, my writing. And that healing, I believe, comes from a truthful exploration of one’s relationship with Spirit. Spirit heals through us, and that healing enables us to be with the sacred nature of everyday life. I urge you to use your prayers and meditations toward experiencing the joy and sacred nature of life itself.
