   Micciah: We greet you all, dear friends.

   Julie: My Name is Julie Winter, and this program is called Micciah Channel.
   And what you are going to see is me, going into an altered state of consciousness, a non ordinary state of awareness. And what I believe happens when I am in that state is that I enter an expanded geography of the self, and that there is an overlap between what I know (my intelligence, my awareness, my experience) and something that is larger than my ordinary awareness. It may indeed be that it is all part of my awareness and that would be fine. What’s produced is a personality that is a product of this overlapping and the personality is called Micciah.
   My voice is going to change and it is my own voice. The variations in speech have to do with my being in an altered state.
   The program is created from my classes. My students bring questions in. We encourage you to ask questions, to ask questions about channeling, about my channeling, whatever. And use your discernment in evaluating the information that comes through.

   Micciah: Your faith, and the innate faith of consciousness in itself — the innate and vibrant faith of consciousness in the magnificent matrix of love out of which it emerges — is enormous.
   When you write down an affirmation or a prayer, a request to the universe — to Cosmic Heart — it is an article of faith. It is an expression of the fire that lives within you, the fire that lives within all of creaturehood; of the profound yearning for faith.
   Even when you write your requests, we know, some object to the word “prayer” and it is done in questioning: “Oh, well, I am doing this, but I don’t really believe.” It is still an expression of the yearning and of the fire. A fanning of the desire to experience union, to bask in the safety of the mysteriousness of grace.
   And when you create a web, a climate of devotion linking yourselves and all others, all creatures or aspects of the manifest world; when you throw in your lot consciously toward devotion, the entire movement of devotion from the inner world (the INNER world) to the outer world — its strength, its movement — is expanded many, many times over. In the act of your devotion, in the climate of your faith, your enquiry, your truthfulness, you contribute unquestioningly (and unquestionably) to the thrust of the power of love into the visible world.
   We do urge you to do this.
   Now — what are your questions?

   Jill: As we look around the planet, it seems like we’re on a dead run for the worst, and I’m wondering what leads us to choose destruction over a creative renaissance right now, which seems necessary to [sigh] change the course of things.

   Micciah: [Whisper] Yes ...

   Jill: Why choose the darkness over the light right now?

   Micciah: [Whisper] It is, ah — [Sigh. Aloud] Yes. A dead run. You are struggling with such deep fear that it results in murderous impulses amongst human creatures, who in some ways have taken on both the power and the burden of choosing. The consciousness of trees is involved with choice, but not the same kind of choice. (Again, this is not to say you are better; it is just a different dance.) So ... in the chaos of this time, you are in ... a snarling experiment with fear. And with the cruelty that is the fruit of fear. [Sharp sigh]
   You could say, in a greater sense, that you are exploring the seed-forms of fear. You are expressing and exemplifying what occurs when human creatures are in the deep trance of fear. What happens? Well, this is what happens.
   When you are incarnate, you come into this realm of duality; and one of the great impulses to incarnate in this world is to experience choosing. One of the things you get to do as a human creature is work with choosing: the freedom to choose this or that. You have, for many, many thousands of years now (in the illusion of time), chosen fear. You have made a very strong ... [searching for words] ... you have given it great momentum. It has a very strong — it is like a waterfall. A very strong momentum. And at the same time you can change it: it is completely malleable.
   When you choose ... fear, or when you are seemingly unable to break the trance of fear, then greed and cruelty, rapaciousness, dislocation — the loss of your mysterious union at the conscious level — result; yes?
   Again: this is the outer history of the world. There is an inner history, and there is also the holding of the entire consciousness of the planet in, ah — stupendous love. Like a great dream of violence, as we have said. When you awaken from the dream you can see that you were safe all along.
   But that sense of safety — safety, lovingness, connect¬ed¬ness, relationship — is trying to come out into the manifest world. You see, it is really THERE in the manifest world, but it is rendered invisible by your fear.
   Is this too abstract? Are you following?
   So — right now you are in this time of the dream that is full of chaos and drama; the point in the play, in the myth, when the forces that are in the thrall of fear, motivated by violence and greed, are overcoming the forces that represent love and connectedness. Is it bad? No; it just is. Are you accountable for your consciousness in these matters? Yes; to the extent that your life allows you to be, yes. Yes. Yes. Is it possible that the seeds of love are cooking in this chaos, and will lead you all to a greater awareness, lead the earth realm to a greater awareness of union? Yes. Is it comfortable to be alive right now? No.
   It is crucial that those of you privileged to be enacting awareness stay with your faith. Test it, use it, inquire into it, express it. Because in the inner history that is what keeps the world alive.
   [Pause]
   It is crucial to stay with your faith and with your acts of faith. Faith as the climate of your being, as your truthfulness; and faith in your acts; and gratitude. Not to fall into the deep trance of fear and despair — and not to be in denial, either. To say, “Oh, well, it is all okay,” is not what we are talking about.
   To step into your own awakening within the great dreaming; to awaken to the union amongst all things, all aspects of consciousness; to live in that union, is much more difficult when the outer world, the concrete world, is in the condition it is in — yes? It’s much easier when life is calmer — although life in this realm has never been (or not for a very long time been) calm.
   You notice the physical world does not represent permanence. The physical world does not represent permanence! It represents magnificence, but not permanence. No matter where you look in physical reality, there is the cat and the mouse, volcanoes, thunderstorms, tidal waves. It is the confrontation of unity. Consciousness is never lost! You die in a tidal wave, and your consciousness skips right along. And consciousness is precious. Life is precious.
   [Whisper] So!

   Vicky: Sort of in the line of what you’ve been talking about, I’m wondering if — if this big group of people in the world right now that are consciously trying to heal the planet — if we have been around at other times in history, together; and if so, what is it that we’re — where are we now, and what are we trying to learn now?

   Micciah: Yes. You have been together many, many times in long history, different of you in various combinations. And, ah — when you say, “those of you who are consciously trying to heal the planet”: you know, everything is connected. You are held, with love; you are in a dance of duality for which you are accountable; you are also connected with the bad guys, as we have said before, and they with you, [laughing] in a — not in a face-to-face sense, but in a total sense.
   So. Some of the great effort in the coming of your release — the breakthrough of the seeds, the fertile seeds of love, through, out of, the chaos — are nurtured by groups of people who were in Atlantis. And they tend to be a very particular kind of consciousness. And there are many of them, not surprisingly, in the great city of New York. And in the great country of the United States. Innovators, idealists, provocateurs.
   There is another large group who (we don’t want to oversimplify things, but — so we are telling you, this is the simple version) — who were together on the continent of Mu. A very different consciousness from Atlantis: these were people who dreamed themselves both into and out of reality. Whereas Atlantis went down, in the physical world — it was cracked apart by many of the same elements you are dancing with now, greed and fear — Mu ... dematerialized itself: it, ah — (whisht!) vanished into another realm.
   The consciousness of — the great consciousness that created the beingness of that continent and its people in — as an overall pattern, as representatives of an overall pattern, were peaceful, deeply connected with the earth, in union with the earth. The Atlanteans were much more connected with other star systems. The Atlanteans were always trying to go UP. The great ones of Mu went IN. We are warning you: this is very — vastly — grossly oversimplified; so we would like to come back to it in another session and do it more justice. But the Atlanteans tend to be the tinkerers, the doers, the metaphysicians. The ones of Mu (they were two great patterns of consciousness) tend to be those of great devotion.
   And you have all been together in various combinations at the birthing and the dying of many cultures, and even many continents. You particularly are a funny group. You, ah — represent the Atlanteans who were also earth-conscious. Some of the Atlanteans dreamt in concert with those who had been on the continent Mu, since one preceded the other in your experience of time; so they were both ... you know, you can also ask for the guidance and the resources of these lost civilizations.
   [Sigh]
   [Whisper] So. [Aloud] If you will all move in, we can ... [whisper] so ... so ...

   [All lay hands on the prayer basket]

   Micciah: These represent your songs of faith, and your reaching out and reaching in through — to — union. And you can put your hands where your heart is (hearts are), and ask that all those here be blessed. [Whisper] Yes ... everyone! ... [Aloud] That we speak for ourselves and for the good of all in the healing — coming to wholeness — in the outer world.
   All those who have requested healing in body and mind and in spirit are blessed ... through the Great One.
   So let it be.

   Students: [Whisper] So let it be ... yes, so let it be ... so let it be.
