• The state of our government: Any governing body, as “perceived interiorly, will reflect itself in the exterior world.” The Constitution, as framed, carried seeds of the esoteric notion of service to the whole through the One; this has deteriorated. • The emotional charging of women’s issues: In this time of breakdown, purification, and rage, the notion of true cooperation between men and women is beginning to burgeon. “Where the governing body is love,” why would the sexes be at war? “At the same time, you must speak the truth of your experience.” View Section

   Micciah: We greet you all, dear friends.

   Julie: My Name is Julie Winter, and this program is called Micciah Channel.
   And what you are going to see is me, going into an altered state of consciousness, a non-ordinary state of awareness. And what I believe happens when I am in that state is that I enter an expanded geography of the self, and that there is an overlap between what I know (my intelligence, my awareness, my experience) and something that is larger than my ordinary awareness. It may indeed be that it is all part of my awareness and that would be fine. What’s produced is a personality that is a product of this overlapping, and the personality is called Micciah.
   My voice is going to change and it is my own voice. The variations in speech have to do with my being in an altered state.
   The program is created from my classes. My students bring questions in. We encourage you to ask questions, to ask questions about channeling, about my channeling, whatever. And use your discernment in evaluating the information that comes through.

   Micciah: We greet you all, dear friends. And we are most pleased to be here.
   And just as you partake of the multidimensional reality, having this conversation — so there are other entities who come and visit with you, who partake of your wisdom and your experience, and who share with you their own. So ... this is one of those times when the room is very full. Fortunately they are not beings who take up sitting room.
   [Laughter.]

   Chris: Micciah, we have been discussing the nature of world prayer and hope, as it relates to world peace.

   Micciah: [Whisper.] Yes!

   Chris: Have recent events in Eastern Europe, the Soviet Union, and somewhat in the Middle East, been determined to peaceful resolution by the hopes and prayers of the world community?

   Micciah: They — yes, although they have not resolved peacefully, really, in any way, at all, yet. From the standpoint of a democracy — from the standpoint of the European governments, the American government — the dissolution of Communism, of Russian Communism, represents a move toward greater freedom. In some ways that is undeniably true. [Sigh.] Yet, the factors that will create true and deep abiding peace that can be created and recreated have not blossomed fully yet.
   Yes, your prayers affect everything; your own cascading intentions — all of you, as representatives of the Divine. The Divine is not outside the self, hoping to get in! It IS you! So the more you unlock your awareness, the more you open the various domains of your own consciousness to the living experience of the Divine — in your breath, in your speaking, in your walking, in your eating, in everything — the more you affect, very directly (much more directly than you might imagine), the creation of peace in a planetary sense.
   And to more fully appreciate this, you need to contemplate that which is apparently concrete (let us say, the various domains of the concrete world), and that which is transparent because it exists on the inner plane, and that which is projected into the concrete world and lives in that domain but is perceived by you as transparent because of your own skill.
   What are we talking about — WHAT?! About peace, and about the effect of your prayers and your most lively intentions on the conditions of the outer world.
   [Pause.] When you live in the domain of peace, it then mirrors itself in the outer reality — not only in a personal sense but in a transpersonal sense.
   We are speaking of the power of the inner realms: that luminous domain of consciousness to which you have access and which you use more or less skillfully, more or less intentionally, more or less in the mode of faith and trust and prayer (that is up to you). And we are speaking of the awareness, that becomes part of your ordinary being, that the physical world — seemingly so concrete — is comprised of moving energy fields, and is actually transparent; so that you can observe what is being enacted in the political arena, let us say, and perceive that as the cascading beliefs shaped at a group level and realized in the physical domain.
   The more awakened you are to your own soul-qualities and to your own magnificence, the more you are able to serve the whole, and the less you are ... [pause; sharp sigh] we were going to say fooled; that’s not the best word — the less you believe in the immutable nature of the concrete. Therefore, you are liberated to attend to the physical world through shifts in your believing and through the ecstasy of a life lived in the rhythm of prayer. It doesn’t have to be prayer to a deity; it is a prayerful attitude: the domain of prayer, let us say. And then, that — we are coming to another point — that becomes the governing body of intention of your whole life.
   We will go on to your question, Joy.

   Joy: I’m sort of — I suppose — worried about our government, and I wondered if you had anything to say about it — where it’s going, or if there’s anything we can do. Because I’ve given up voting. I don’t know if other people have.

   Micciah: Well, let us look at government in this frame: first, ask yourselves the question: within you, as individuals, what is — are — the governing bodies? Are the governing bodies of the domain of Joy her fears? Her ... pleasures? Her creativity?
   The governing body, as it is perceived interiorly, will reflect itself in the exterior world. You know, many of those who drew up the Constitution of the United States (even though the country was wrested in a very violent and cruel way from the people native to this continent) — these were — men, mostly men — who had esoteric knowledge. So the governing body, as it manifested in the form of the United States, carried some seeds that linked it to the notion of service to the whole through the One — through All That Is, through the greater powers.
   So, those seed-forms partook of the creation of your government in a different way than the seed-forms of other countries and their governing bodies. However: this has mostly deteriorated, in spite of the fact that this country (well, all of the earth, but — ), this country is an amazing ... conglomeration of consciousnesses.
   When the governing body of individuals is their conscious relationship to the One, then the laws of the land reflect that love. So, the Native American people who counseled some of those who framed the Constitution counseled this — that the leaders be essentially spiritual leaders, with a metaphysical and spiritual understanding that would make itself known through their governmental procedures.
   This was to some extent ignored, although as we say the seeds of the United States government are connected with some esoteric metaphysical seeds. And it has continued in great part to deteriorate as a concept, as a living concept — as a living vehicle of consciousness — so that what is manifest is a deteriorated situation of despair and greed, wherein much of the work that people do is, ah — demeaning, does not serve the whole, is not conceived of in that frame, and so on and so forth.
   So — now, in this time of very intense crisis (which we think most human creatures are understanding, at least at a dream level), you go back as groups to the notions of prayer, of service, of personal responsibility to the larger group, in the most genuine sense, with the living understanding — the tissue-understanding — that there is only one of you! Only one of you. And this will change the nature of the governing bodies, but not before there is more breakdown.
   Your prayers, your willingness to act personally on behalf of the greater good — this is very potent. When you live in the domain of consciousness that is filled with the vitality of prayer and of service, then your intentions cascade into the manifest world, and affect everything.
   Please, go on. Clear so far?

   Students: Yes.

   Barrie: My question is sort of a sub-set of the government question.

   Micciah: Yes! Yes.

   Barrie: Women’s issues have become enormously charged emotionally, and not just women are charged about it.

   Micciah: Yes.

   Barrie: Particularly abortion and sexual harassment, I guess.

   Micciah: Yes. Sexual harassment, incest, violence expressed sexually — which is really not sexual; it — again, those are violent feelings expressed through the domain or the realm of sexuality; they are not specifically sexual feelings.
   As everything begins to shake and crack and fall apart, the familiar forms are dismantled and you are living in shambles, amidst lies and a rapidly deteriorating outer-world situation, trying to hold — within yourselves and in groups such as these and in many other ways — that it is a time of cleansing and of healing.
   There is much rage at the breakdown. And the selves that are not asking, how may I serve the whole; where do I find the bliss, and also the daily skill and activity of prayer? wish to blame, wish to control, wish to exert a forcing current in the governing bodies. But at the same time, you see, all of this toxic material, all these memories that have been held in race-mind for centuries, all of these experiences, are bursting out: peoples’ stories, the heritage of pain, is bursting out. And where it cannot be tolerated, and understood as a purification, there is the desire to clamp down on it, to control it, to force women again to be subservient and to lose control of the physical.
   Now, there is just beginning to burgeon the notion of cooperation between the sexes. Not the older notion, which encompassed women’s understandable anger against men; but from that, the idea that together those who have been pitted against each other, working together will create true transformation.
   The understanding of the mythical Feminine is changing. We said — we believe it was last year we discussed the Queen of Heaven, the fiery aspect of the Feminine, coming to meet the tender-hearted aspect of the Masculine.
   Tender-hearted does not mean wimpy.
   [Laughter.]
   It is a very courageous position.
   So — there are many things happening at once: breakdown; the desire for control; the desire to punish, to make someone to blame for the chaos, to return things to the old order, when things were safe (which of course they were not; the old order is exactly what has produced the current situation). And — there are the seeds of possibility of genuine cooperation and great love between men and women. Not the Battle of the Sexes, but the notion that pulling together you will create enormous transformation and healing. But not a false cooperation, through repression and subjugation (which is no cooperation at all): you are trying to give birth to a new way of being women and a new way of being men, and the possibility not of being at war with each other but of joining together.

   Barrie: Does it look good for cooperation, or is it not decided yet?

   Micciah: Looks good, long-term.

   Barrie: Anything looks good long-term! [Laughter.]

   Julia: Right.

   Micciah: The more you focus on it, the faster it will manifest.
   You understand we are not in any way suggesting you be less than truthful about your needs and your rights: that is no cooperation at all. But a real exploration of your hearts: the governing body. Where the governing body is love, and a personal connection with the One, then why would you be at war between the sexes? At the same time, you must speak the truth of your experience.
   [Louder] To continue to set men and women against each other is to fall into a very vicious trap. If you — as human creatures, as two-leggeds — cannot support your love of each other on the planet, you cannot either support the health of the planet. Because one is trying to have dominion over the other.
   And at a certain point, the suit you show up in becomes transparent. (As we were speaking before of the physical world: it is transparent.) You can see a person’s many, many existences; you know it’s only this time. And, ah — the most important possibility is to be liberated from the smaller sense of the self into the larger sense of the greater good.

   Julie: That’s the end of this particular segment... of this particular adventure. And this channeling is meant to be a spiritual, emotional, intellectual, heartful, mindful journey that I share with another realm, that I share with my classes and that we all share with you.
